Default Zombie Dice / Batman Dice Game

For those who have both - do you prefer one or the other? Specifically, do you prefer "no special powers" as in ZD, or "each player has a power" as in the Batman game? Why?

Thanks! - sj

I absolutely love both games. Zombie Dice has proven to be ideal for large groups and doesn't require much strategy at all. Batman TAS' addition of powers created an interesting dynamic that actually encourages a bit more than simply rolling. It has turned into one of the most popular dice games that I own (oh, and everyone wants more villains)!

The villain powers and theme (best Batman series evar!) keep B:TAS:TDG at the top of my "Zombie-Dice-like" list.

Pretty much this. Batman has just enough extra rules to make things more interesting but not really more complicated.

Also, Batman > zombies, and B:TAS > all other forms of Batman.

I've got to vote in favor of Batman as well. I've always liked games where each player has a different ability (or abilities) that set them apart from each other and push a slightly different strategy while still having some common factors. The tricky part, particularly when there isn't direct player conflict/interference, is getting the abilities balanced.

The fact that I've been a fan of Batman since I was 3, is icing on the cake.

I think they're both fantastic games. I like both "powers" and "no powers." Yeah, I'm no damn help.

I actually prefer the no-powers, no-frills of Zombie Dice. I also prefer ZD without the expansions. I usually play ZD as a light filler, and it's an easier entry point because of the minimal ruleset; all you have to do is count.

Batman is a nice change, but it tends to be a little distracting trying to remember what everyone's power is.
