Default New body armor options for soldiers

U.S. soldiers have been using new types of body armors, like the IOTV, MBAV, SPCS, scalable plate carrier etc.

What differences they have from each other, if any?
How they fits in High-tech?
How much DR?
How to model this in game: "provide less cover than OTV"?

Thanks in advance.

I can tell you that the MTV takes significantly longer to don and interferes with prone shooting.

Which would mean penalties for shooting under this condition (prone), or if in need to take out armor fast (cathing fire, drowning etc.).

And, ballistic protection? It is really suoerior?

It's got a quick release pull. Which had a tendency to get caught on vehicles and stuff so we taped it so that it was a tab instead of a loop (if that makes any sense).

Well, compared to the ITV it has integral (rather than add-on) side inserts, the groin flap, and the neck protector gorget thingy.

Was it the gorget hitting the helmet that messes with prone? That's the problem I always had firing from the prone with a kevlar and pack, the rim of the kevlar would hit the frame and push down over my eyes.

Which means it is heavier because its not modular, right?

Also the magazine pouches sit right over your stomach, so when full it pushes you up in the middle and makes it hard to get your upper body on the deck in anything resembling a usable firing position.

So it had no effect at all in game.

There is some field adjustment to counter that? Or it is because size issues? Its pretty commom this issue with the collar/ gorget?

I once calculated E-SAPI plates as being DR+38 (compared to the +23 of the assault vest's trauma plates in the book, which AFAIK are supposed to represent standard SAPI), with a weight of 16 pounds including the side plates (11 lbs. without), and total cost of $1800 ($1200 without side plates).

X-SAPI would be a few pounds and points of DR above that, but I haven't found (haven't bothered to look, really) any concrete figures for them to calculate specifics.
