Re: GURPS Girl Genius
I like their take on the title, Girl Genius GURPS!

Re: GURPS Girl Genius
Should be interesting. I expect expanded rules for Gadgeteering.

Re: GURPS Girl Genius
Same. Considering GG's very on-the-fly gadget-making I'm hoping that we'll get some good rules for cinematic-style throwing together weapons, clockwork allies, etc.

Re: GURPS Girl Genius
I'd be interested in some kind of 'mixed gadgeteering' skills, like instead of rolling just one core skill, if you have high skill in multiple engineering skills if they could synergize to create things.
That'd also include magic too. I know you can apply Gadgeteering manufacture speeds to Alchemy, but what about "Black Magic Meets Technology" producing stuff like Rasputin's Ragnarok Engine / Von Braun's Astromagnet ? |

Re: GURPS Girl Genius
I think the possibility of a broadly applicable invention / mad science system is one of the most exciting things about this product. Something like RPM but for science.
The Atomic Robo RPG (using Fate) has some good rules in this area, it would be great to have something similar for GURPS. |

Re: GURPS Girl Genius
I look forward to seeing the rules, eventually. I read the webcomic and love the feel of the world.
I also am fond of the Narbonics webcomic (ended, currently the author is doing Skin Horse). Mad science in the modern world (well, 20-30 years ago, I guess). Helen B. Narbon is the mad scientist, Mel is her evil intern, Dave is their tech support, Artie is Helen's super-intelligent gerbil. Later, there is a demon who got thrown out of hell. There is time travel. And one of the main villains is Helen's mother. An absolutely fabulous story. I think that any set of rules that does justice to Girl Genius could work with Narbonics.

Re: GURPS Girl Genius
I would note that Skin Horse is in the same universe as Narbonic, as is Li'l Mel. One of the Munchkin expansions has a Narbonic card, as well.
