Thank you :)
I didn't actually make up much. Insects are pretty freaky already, seen close up.

What insect did you base it on?

I have no idea. I just used Google Picture Search to look for terms like "insect", "mollusc", "exoskeleton" etc.
My wife tells me the thing looks like a flower. :)

I recently lost the hard drive where my 3d content was stored. I'm in the painful process of data recovery.

I had finished this image of Brandi as Dark Phoenix before it went kaput.

Pretty! Her wings are on crooked, though. >_>

(Good luck with the data recovery!)

Really? Hmm, it may be a perspective thing. All her weight is on her right leg because the ground is uneven so her left leg is up higher and she's tilted back. I'll have to look at her in the virtual space if/when I get my data back. I may need to move her torso to compensate for it.

Thanks. It's coming along, slowly but surely. If I'm lucky, I may get all my 3d content back. I have all my installers, but that'll take weeks to reinstall.

Could be a perspective thing, indeed -- I'm just sensitive to the way wings appear to be attached to the back. O:> (The APG is another case of Wings On Crooked...)

Crossing fingers for you. Data recovery is painful, if better than the alternative.

Wahoo! Got the majority of my data off the failed hard drive. A few things need to be repaired, but I'm happy to get my 3d content off.

So, I did another Rose Westin, Jedi Padawan picture. She is supposed to be anime-ie. Is that even a word?

Animeish?
As opposed to Amish which she certainly isn't. *grin*
