spells to remove traits
M15 mentions suggested pricing for adding an advantage or a disadvantage, would it make sense to also allow the removal of advantages or disadvantages for the same price like with Affliction?
I was thinking like a spell which you could use to remove "Immune to Psionics". You probably couldn't use it to negate "Immune to Magic" though, assuming that even exists. M155 setting 30 points for Immune to Mind-Affecting Magic makes it seem like at best you would need to have multiple incarnations of immunity to each college of magic, as opposed to 30 points covering all incarnations of the source like it does with psi. Unless perhaps that's a typo and it's meant to be 20 points? |

Re: spells to remove traits
The fact that it's legal with affliction doesn't mean it often makes any sense. It's fairly rare for it to make sense to be able to remove immunities, as they tend to be based on the type of creature and seem to require transformation into a different type of creature to make sense.

removing Resistant seems in the same vein as adding Susceptible |

Re: spells to remove traits
Removing Resistant does seem in the same vein, but removing Immune does not (even though in GURPS they're considered variants of the same advantage).
