Default Question about the alternate worldline Steel?

On page 528 of Gurps: Basic Set Campaigns listed under 'Other Roads to Hell' lists the Reign of Steel worldline, but doesn't seem to give the quantum that it's on.

Does anyone know 'which' quantum the Steel worldline is on?

Any help is appreciated, thanks! =)

Dunno if it's been pegged officially... I have not seen it if it has. A little inference should let us make an educated guess: The paragraph on it in Campaigns tells us that both Centrum and Infinity are aware of the timeline, and are concerned of the possibility that an AI may develop parachronic tech. From this we can place it with a high degree of confidence, on either Q6 or Q7; the reason being that it is very unlikely that either Homeline or Centrum would know much detail about a world in their opposite's home quantum. It is far more reasonable to assume that the Steel timeline lies between them, within reach of the one or two level projectors of each. Given their concern, and their more aggressive nature, it seems likely that if Steel was in Q7, and thus fairly easy to reach for them, that Centrum would quickly implement a strategy to neutralize the potential threat. As the extent of their plans are said to be exploring the possibility of aiding the human resistance, this lends credence to the thought that the line is in the more distant (for them) Q6, where the curtailed ability for them to project equipment and personnel would likely force them to be more cautious.

Looks very plausible to me.

I wonder if Steel will, one day, be a GURPS4 book, sort of a remake of 3e's "Reign Of Steel"?

That would be cool.
