No, but 'armor' for monsters was an often overlooked feature in the classic ruleset IMO. And unfortunately, hymenopterans didn't make the trip into LE... not officially, anyway.

This was our GM's interpretation as well (back-in-the-day)... one which I have perpetuated (and expanded upon) in my own games.

I like a summoned Myrmidon being a human. It gives it that little bit extra from Summon Wolf, in that Control Person, not Control Animal is needed to take over.
Although I do see the appeal to it being an otherworldly summoned being. Just never thought of it. |
