Default Maps, Deckplans, and Minis used for THS

Curious, are people running THS games using much in the way of Maps, Deckplans, and Minis in your THS game?

What are you using my way of maps?
- Information maps based on real places standing in for game places,
- Information maps self created for the game place,
- Generic Tactical Maps,
- Encounter Specific Maps.

Have people generated Deckplans for the Passenger Space Vehicle (PSV), Utility Space Vehicle (USV), or other vehicle type the PCs in their game are on?
What have you used for a deckplan?
- Something borrowed from another game
- Something created new for the THS game

Anyone gone crazy with a home made 3-D structure (Legos, etc.) for a THS ship?

What do you use for miniatures in your THS game?
- The THS metal miniatures: http://www.warehouse23.com/item.html?id=SJG13-0300
- Metal or plastic minis from other games (which?)
- Paper miniatures (which?)
- Random piece from the gaming table (extra dice, coins, candy, etc.)

We use rather abstract tokens like [url=http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_CCZ-xq7pHHQ/Scz7rGlcBsI/AAAAAAAADQk/4IsU4sGsjhw/s400/spielfiguren28.jpg]these[\url] for everything. They are very cheap (5 cent the piece iirc) so we could afford to buy lots of them in different colours (10 of each color and i think about 10 colours) - all of them are numbered and have a marked front.
I think that approach is superior to miniatures since you can't have a mini for *everything* so it's better to have abstract ones which don't direct your imagination. (in my first fantasy campaign we used metal miniatures and every enemy, whatever it was, tended to be remembered at some kind of swampmonster (the only miniatures in larger quantities... ;) ) )

As a map we are using two DinA0 hex fields printed on a synthetic sheet with some kind of Styrofoam glued under it for stability. If something more elaborate than a quick sketch is needed I prepare it before the session and hide it until it's needed... :)
We are very happy with the combination and the best point is - you can use it for every genre so we don't need additional minis for our other groups.

I haven't, but if I was going to, I'd probably fire up my copy of campaign cartographer and try making some plans and maps, maybe basing them on existing plans from something like 2300AD. I'd be tempted to actually use 2300AD plans, but those that I know of are on square grids as opposed to hexagonal.

For minis... I'd want to use 15s, most likely those from Ground Zero Games. However, my players aren't too keen on 15s, and since I do have a large collection of modern and post-modern 25/28s available, I go with those. I wouldn't be too worried about exact matches for parahumans. A close ballpark would hit close enough to the mark. And if I needed something extraordinary, I'd find some art online and make a custom cardboard hero.

I collected Deckplans from various sources (many from Traveller), and occasionally use them.

I used the Dragon class SDB as a Mars-Earth PSV in a con adventure:

For minis I go to the One Monk Forum, where they design Paper Miniatures:

Many free and paid models are suited for TS. Unfortunately, none has that 'made for TS' feel. No Felicias, few robots that can be considered TS cybershells, etc. But short of the oficial minis (and there are so few of them), no mini has the right feel (Infinity Miniatures comes close).

I wrote an article about where to get paper minis. It's in portuguese, but you don't have to understand a word to follow the links:

More specific maps and minis: This toposolitario terrain, with his ikubes to add a third dimension, are good for Broken Dreams High Tech Shantytowns:

For affluent Fifth Wave citizens, the HOARDs 55, 56 and 57 are recolors from minis for Space Opera draw by Jordan Greywolf (illustrator of Ironclaw RPG):

I'm trying to build the space station from Orbital Decay, using modules from Firstlight:
