You can't claim extra time bonuses on the roll, sorry. But, you made it anyway.
Check your PMs for the results.

As for searching the bodies, each one of the archers was carrying a longbow, a shortsword, full body leather armour, and arrows in a quiver. There are 47 arrows left in total - not all of the bad guys had full quivers.

Alright, I had Bain gather the stuff; he also checked his loot with a soldier (SL 12) roll to make sure the equipment is safe to use.
Hide: 3D6 → 11(3 +6 +2)

The swords and bows are fine, but the leather armour pieces have been mostly ruined by some kind of blue sludge leaking out from their bodies and tearing out big holes in them - touching it with your bare hands causes some slight burn until it is washed off.

Using scrounging (sl 14) Vic will try to find something to hold the goop somehow. rolled a 13

I'm afraid that doesn't work. Anything you find in the wilderness is simply not capable of containing the blue sludge - it is eaten away by the mysterious substance. You need special, probably magical, equipment.
