Default Star Wars Mod of Frag?

Has anyone ever attempted to customize Frag for a Star Wars theme?

I've searched the forums and found a suggestion by someone that used Star Wars minis, but nothing about actually changing out equipment, specials, etc.

I realize that a manufacturer could not do it because of licensing and Lucas Arts, but fans could certainly try it out.

Examples I'm envisioning:

Light Saber weapon - only works at close range (like chainsaw) but would allow a defensive deflect ability (with maybe a special to redirect a shot like Trick Fire)

Force powers?

Droids?

Considering the maps in general, I'd be worried Force powers might be a bit too powerful in range and still keep the flavor needed, but I'd be interested in hearing how tests work out.

*ponders* sabers could only block X amount of damage from energy weapons (or energy weapons do 1D less)

Jedi's default to having, but have no ranged attack to start.

got some possibilities.

I'm about to get Frag, so I don't know a lot of Frag jargon. But I'd like to discuss this anyway.

Needs a new line that you can add numbers to.

Force ( ) 1-4 as normal.

Each point assigned to Force would allow the player to pick one permanent force ability. Stronger force powers would require more force points spent. Doing so would give the player less points in normal abilities, thereby balancing it out somewhat. Of coarse, creating a level 4 force power means all force points are spent on that one power. That's it. No more powers for you.

Range doesn't seem like a problem. Line of sight required. Strong powers get range 5. Weak ones get 8 - 10 maybe.

What you can do with a lightsaber is dependent on your force level. Block, throw, etc.

Mind Trick = one per round Roll to see if you change an opponents movement, cancel an attack, cancel a card, etc.

Ideas are coming.

And would you have to change the stats and add a "Force" attribute?
