Thats not not really needed if those folks are discovering and enjoying RPGs through friends and aquantances that they already know - like in the OP example.

Also, the so-called 'porn and stripper demographic' already has plenty of geek and gamer girls within their midst. People don't generally announce what their day job is when they a role-playing group.

I think we need an outreach program to reach hot chicks regardless of what they work as.

Maybe its Southwestern Ohio - I see plenty of women gamers ("Girl gamers") at the store every week. In this area I'd say the gander ratio among gamers is close to 50/50.

Within that percentage of women gamers - just about every career choice is represented. Also, they seem to be fairly open-minded, many like dressing up in costumes or leather (Medieval/Rennaissance and otherwise) and many of them are pretty open about being bi-sexual.

...and in your Fourth photo is a somewhat well-known minor celebrity at gaming conventions. (The girl at the T Shirt Booth)
She looks like my friend Calye who is better known as "Chainmail Girl" at various web sites and blogs and on facebook. (Including the Fans of Chainmail Girl facebook page)

This past Gen Con she got married at the convention. Believe her garter was made of chainmail and was blue.

Her name indeed was Calye. She mentioned that people tend to get overly creative with the pronunciation of her name (It's pronounced "Cally"). I noticed that she was married (the fellow at the booth shared her last name) or else I would have tried to take her home with me.

Thats too easy ...she's used to help out Flying Buffalo at their booth for years. A version of her was used in their 'Fighting Fantasy' duel books.

Pretty sure that both Larry Elmore and Keith Parkinson have used her as a model for gaming artwork. Look for the name ' Amara Wintersword'.
