The other significant difference between Less Sleep 8 and Doesn't Sleep is that a character with Less Sleep can presumably sleep longer than he actually requires if he wants to.

As for what's realistic - I'd be extremely cautious about moving that around on the basis of anecdotes or personal experience. One of the things sleep research has managed to demonstrate is that when you actually measure this stuff and compare it to what people tell you, is they are *really* bad about determining how much they sleep, how long it takes for them to fall asleep, how often they wake up, how much they dream etc.

Well, the numbers are imprecise but some of them are not necessarily underrated. E.g. if one goes to sleep around 0200 and gets up at 0800 (because the rest of the schedule depends on it), there's no way to get more than 6 hours of sleep on such nights; it is possible to get less depending on whether the fall-asleep duration is negligible or long.

Doesn't Sleep [20] = Less Sleep 8 [16] + Immunity (Sleep Afflictions) [5] + Cannot Dream [-1] ??

Don't take this the wrong way. But for once I completely gree with you. ;) Changing the price of (dis)advantages is not always a horrible thing.

My dreams are usually weird, but sometimes disturbing as well as pleasant. I would call it a wash as a zero point feature.
Though it would be interesting to limit versatility or other imaginative advantages with "must dream about it first".

Since Incompetence: Dreaming is -1 point, that looks fair.

Only in campaigns that allow/need cinematic skills like that one.

Maybe you're saying that because you have Incompetence in it? ^_^

(I used to consider the existence of Influence skills cinematic, hehe.)
