Default [Where I Read] GURPS Banestorm

Well, over on RPG.net, I've been posting a "Where I Read" thread where I read GURPS Banestorm as a summation, with my thoughts on it, and I was wondering if I could do so here on the GURPS board, with the Mods' permission.

Sure, that saves time: https://forum.rpg.net/index.php?thre...estorm.877919/

So far I've covered the first three chapters of the book, starting with the history of Yrth, then Life on Yrth, then Religions, and I've started the World of Yrth chapter. I've just finished a multi-part look at the Megalan Empire, and will start on Araterre shortly.

Wow, that's quite a fascinating read. Obviously a labor of love.

Indeed it is. Admittedly, while I do criticize some things here and there, the world of Yrth is one of my favorite Fantasy worlds. Which isn't to say I wouldn't change some things here and there, but I'd keep the core elements at least.

IIRC, isn't it confirmed that in Sahud, the Banestorm pulled from multiple Earths? Thus explaining the confusion of beliefs?

Edit: I see you mentioned multiple Earths a few pages in.

Updated my thread, with a part 1 on the Kingdom of Caithness. I'll continue part 2 on Monday: https://forum.rpg.net/index.php?thre...#post-23843035
