Default Multiple Copies of the Same Cards

I understand that some cards like Crew and Exclusive items are limited to one only. Most other items seem to be limited only by the availability of the physical card itself.
Is the intent of the designers that a car may never have more than 2 identical weapons since the decks only have 2 copies per color of most items?
Also, since Dropped and Linked weapons come in separate packs, would you be allowed to buy extra copies of, for example, the Dropped Weapons packs in order to have multiple oil, smoke, spikes, etc.

Nah, that's just a manufacturing limitation. Crew, Gear, Sidearms, Accessories, and Upgrades are all limited to one copy, and Structure is one per side...but you can equip as many copies of non-exclusive weapons (including dropped weapons) as your build size can afford. Borrow unused cards from the other player colors!

Thanks for the clarification! During my last game I could have used a second or even a third Foam Nozzle😄.

Since you're limited to two attacks per round, there's always the harsh tradeoff of giving up an attack to use it, but foam ended up being really neat and fun to use. And thank YOU for playing and for sharing your experiences with others! (I see you over there on Facebook!)
