Default I expected 6e to take me back to the '80s but not the '70s

So, as many others have done, I wanted to make the firing arc lines on the vehicle bases "pop" for better visual effect.

To that end, I did one with white paint but was not particularly pleased with the results.

So, harking back to the first d20s that came with the numbers 1 though 10 twice uninked, I broke out a white crayon and filled in the gaps of a base.

The results were fantastic - much better than my painted one.

Now to put some goldfish in my platform shoes.......

I ended up using silver paint. It shows up well on the colored bases and is also reflective when using my “laser line” pointer.

I remember the crayons, but it was the mid-1980s for a red box Basic D&D set (probably the Mentzer version).

Lots of cool different car minis for Car Wars and I could raid the matchbox cars my mom left at my house after my brother and I grew up and these were kept for the next generation. Though with all the official Car Wars models, I don't really see a need to raid the matchbox collection this week. . .

Will have to consider doing some crayon work when my add-ons box comes and I'm set to run demos.
