Corrupting Others
How could one build a power that adds minor (1-2) points of Corruption onto a target?

Re: Corrupting Others
In my personal campaigns, I use Affliction with Corrupting (+25%) which gives 1 point of corruption per point of your margin of success. You can also add this to a damaging attack for the same amount or a +100% version if it inflicts Corruption and damage.

Re: Corrupting Others
So a Toxic Attack using Corrupting (+25%) would give 1d points of corruption to living things, hmm?

Re: Corrupting Others
After DR anyways. I just modeled it after the Radiation enhancement.

Re: Corrupting Others
You're talking about the Corruption mechanic from Horror? Wouldn't that just be a straight Disadvantage Affliction, with each 10 points of Corruption equaling a -1 disad?

Re: Corrupting Others
Sometimes the effects of Corruption can actually be an advantage, just one that doesn't fit well in society. Besides, the rules set out in Horror don't seem like they'd apply well to corrupting plant and insect life in the area.

Re: Corrupting Others
I would prefer making powers that force someone to corrupt themselves through actions inherent in the setting.
Like Wendigo inflicting insatiable hunger and murderous but satisfying nightmares to make someone turn cannibal.

I'm really going for the "there's a reason they say this [location] is cursed!" thing for this character's home base, and anywhere else he wants to claim as his.
