Question on Wandering Monster Gazebo
Let's say another munchkin gets my help in fighting a monster. I use several one-shot items and enhancers to increase my own combat, and discarded 3 cards to the Warrior ability to increase my combat. But then, right when we're about to defeat it, someone else Wandering Monster's a Gazebo in. My understanding based on reading online here is that I now have to back out of this fight.
However, let's say the munchkin remaining somehow gets rid of the Gazebo, and he can now ask for help again. He asks for my help again, and I return to the fight. Does my combat remain enhanced from the items I used earlier, or do those effects disappear since I technically exited combat and now that I'm re-entering combat they're reset? |

Re: Question on Wandering Monster Gazebo
In the interest of bookkeeping, your Warrior bonus would disappear. However, just because YOU leave the combat doesn't mean that one-shots you play do; those would still be in effect even if you are no longer in the fight.

Re: Question on Wandering Monster Gazebo
How would this reconcile with the (lack of) official ruling posted here?
If there is officially no official ruling on whether or not we get to keep the cards we played/discarded, does that mean it's up to loud arguments and/or the game owner? |

Re: Question on Wandering Monster Gazebo
Not questioning your authority as an official Munchkin ruling god; I understand that your word is final. I was just looking to clarify in general –*if we're playing and a corner case arises, and there is no clear ruling found on this forum somewhere and it's not clarified in the rulebook or FAQ, does that mean we would just leave it up to "loud argument" and/or the game owner?
