Munchkinomicon following Rock Falls, Everyone Dies
This situation came up today and I didn't know how exactly to rule it.
Player A is fighting a monster that he is unable to defeat and the badstuff is death. He fails to run-away and plays Rock Falls, Everyone Dies. Everyone discarded their cards but debate struck over what happens with the Munchkinomicon. Who does the Munchkinomicon go to? The next player when he draws his new hand? Or do you simply put it aside until someone draws treasure for another reason, discards 3 cards, etc.? |

The rules for the Munchinomicon says that whenever it is to go to the Discard pile it goes to the top of Treasure deck to be received by the next person to get a Treasure.
Here is a quote from the rules. Quote:

Actually, it goes to a player who returns from death, so there's significantly more going on here, since everyone returns from the dead at the same time.

Re: Munchkinomicon following Rock Falls, Everyone Dies
I think it stays on the treasure deck. The part about people who die getting the Book is prefaced by, "If it is in play, it will immediately move
to anyone who. . ." It is not in play when the Munchkins all come back to life, hence it stays on the Treasure deck and will be drawn by the player who's turn it is as they refill their hand. The Munchkinomicon rules also say to roll if multiple players die in the same turn, so even if it's not a case of everyone dying, the thing to do is clear. |
