Minor tidbit: it's "Sentinel", not "Sentinal". Otherwise, looks like a solid write-up.
I'd keep the weakness against wood, to be honest. It's much better than the weakness against the color yellow, and it's a weakness inherited by his daughter, Jenni-Lynn Hayden/Jade. (Also, pretty sure you can count her and Obsidian as both Allies and Dependents, though with a very low FoA for Dependent.)

I'll have to make Jade and Obsidian eventually, then I'll know how much they're worth as allies. IIRC, Obsidian's an Enemy sometimes, too.

Question- Do you plan at some point in the future posting the Handbook in PDF form somewhere?

Not in the near future, no. Maybe some day when I have a blog up and running.

The real trick for a PDF is determining what format the entries themselves will be in. I stole my format in the Marvel Reboot thread, the PDF in my .sig, and the not-a-wiki site I cooked up from the old Official Handbooks of the Marvel Universe, but the format aesir's using for his DCU handbook doesn't may not translate that well to print.
Don't get me wrong, the format he uses works great for the forum, but it may not look pleasing to the eye, particularly if he adds artwork like I did on the PDF and not-a-wiki. If he updates to a wiki or a blog, I'm not really sure how they'd handle the graphics.

Taking a break from the JSA to present their most interesting villain:
Villain: Vandal Savage Alias: Vandar Adg, Khafre the great, Julius Ceaser, Edward "Blackbeard" Teach, Jack the Ripper, Vlad the Impaler. Affiliations: The Religion of Crime, Secret Society of Super Villains Notable Enemies: Scandal Savage, Alan Scott, Barry Allen, The JSA, The JLA, Resurrection Man, The Secret Six. 52,000 years ago, Vandar Adg was chieftain of the Blood Tribe a war-like band of hunter-gathers in what is now Palestine. He was a cruel and brutal leader, and, he claims, the inventor of cannibalism A strange meteor landed near where Vandar was hunting, giving off radiation that activated Vandar's Meta-Gene. He gained a genius intellect, nearly superhuman physical prowess, and functional immortality. Power enough to making him the greatest conqueror and warlord the world has ever seen. Vandal Savage was quite likely the world's first meta-human, and is certainly the oldest person on earth. Down through the ages he has fought in countless wars and ruled several kingdoms. He has also served as a secret advisor to several of history's great men (including Napoleon and Hitler), and has been several others, including Julius Ceaser and the pirate Blackbeard. As millennia have passed, however, Savage's powers have begun to struggle to maintain his eternal life. Now, in order to reinvigorate his powers, he must periodically consume the flesh and blood of his own descendants. Fortunately he has many bloodlines to choose from (his most famous descendants are hero Roy Harper (Arsenal) and anti-villain Scandal Savage (leader of the Secret Six). Recently, the leadership of the Religion of Crime has decided that Vandal is, in fact, the biblical Cain--first murderer and founder of their religion. Vandal is more than happy to take advantage of their belief for his own purposes and at this point, it's unclear who's manipulating whom. Vandal Savage is motivated only by his own self-interests and is completely without conscience or scruples. He is a living contradiction--a brilliant tactician and criminal master-mind but also a brutal and unpredictable savage. In short, he is as dangerous as he is ancient. Quote:
I'd like to find ways to make him more powerful, especially as a "master-mind" type villain, without hurting his flavor too much. I'd love any feedback and suggestions.

Gruesome character. These threads prove I know virtually nothing, even less than I thought I did, about comics.
Two minor things jump out to me: Metabolic Hazards are Very Common, not just Common. Reawakened is an Unusual Background allowing anachronistic skills and abilities. I don't think that's very necessary in most comic book universes. Even then, you only have one skill, Hidden Lore, that normal dedicated people couldn't learn now.

I probably wouldn't use "Reawakened" for Vandal Savage anyway. Instead, I'd use Unaging. He wasn't reincarnated into bodies of his descendants, like Carter and Shiera Hall (Hawkman and Hawkgirl) are; he's actually lived since 50,000 BC. Unaging, possibly with a limitation for "needs periodic consumption of descendants to maintain", fits better.
As for pricing, I've always considered that half the price of the aging traits is an Unusual Background for having lived through a certain period in order to pick up a smattering of skills that aren't common and/or wouldn't make sense to a character otherwise.

I was also toying with giving him some variation of Wild Talent to allow him to know any skill from his very long past, but I decided against it. Despite his back story, he's not really portrayed as that much of a jack-of-all-trades.
