Default Cant remember if this piece of armor has a name..

If I'm remembering this correctly, there's this additional plate of metal put on jousting armor that covers the shoulder and chest on the left side. I imagine this piece has a proper name and I can't think of what it is.

A kind of Rondel, maybe ?

Ecranche? A shield protecting the armpit, attached to the armor.
