If they don't already swing that way. Remember, half the population go to bed dreaming about KROMM without having seen him flex. They may not be aware of it, but there it is.

I wonder what KROMM's celestial* gaming table is looking like. Quite a few grognards have joined the great convention in the sky over the last years... :(

This is entirely due to Kromm's godly skill as an author, of course. That and he has not given Sony a Krommly (or is it Krommerite?) endorsement.

At which point, the Playstation games would now run on CD-Kromm.

I'm sorry, but that particular expression has been copyrighted. There's a small fee for having used it...

Namely, kneel and give me twenty "Hail Kromm"s.

Praise and hail Him for yet another miracle: a GURPS book that appears out of the air and/or from the heavens a month or more early. Praise and Hail ! Hail and Praise !

And let´s pray that this is not a sign that this universe has existed long enough, that all conceivable wonders and miracles have happened, and that the sun will now die.

But surely He wouldn´t permit that to happen until everybody has received this very latest holy book, read it, and understood the Glory that is GURPS.
So I guess I am safe, my copy of Thaumatology is safe, and I will be able to peruse it at leisure.

Just remember that it's cursed! During the project's preparation . . .
  • Publisher Steve Jackson was violently mugged.
  • Author Phil Masters had two serious medical problems, requiring two operations.
  • Lead playtester Jeff Wilson was in a car wreck that trashed an arm.
  • Editor Sean Punch had a serious medical problem and a major dental issue, requiring operations.
. . . so review pp. 157-159 before using any of the rest in your game. Checking out pp. 148-151 wouldn't hurt, either.

More praise ! For He has sacrificed His Own wellbeing to draw the curse away from us, the faithful, so we were protected from this evil. As is proven by the facts that I had no dental problems, wasn´t mugged, had no medical problems (except a cold in winter) and wasn´t involved in any car wrecks. In fact, if I understand the copy I have acquired shortly ago correctly, I was blessed with a playtest credit. Hooray !

I've never gotten the chance to do this to an editor, so pardon me while I savor the moment -- is there a way to be passively mugged? :)

Sure: "Give me your money, or else!" That's a mugging. Things need not go from threatening to violent for the event to qualify as a mugging.
