Re: Corco's Villa (IC)
Vassarious will risk the offence and ask Pang Zhen.
"I see. The prophesy will be done if we blunder ahead, but it would be best if we could accomplish fate's decree without the noble sacrifice of our lives in the pursuit if such can be avoided. Pang Zhen, if I can take on a shadow of your nature to see some of these patterns for myself, to you think it wise to attempt it?" Vassarious will attempt it here where they might benefit from Pang Zhen's guidance if they do not forbid such a thing. |

"Well I guess we should default back to one hanging near Babylon to investigate there, and prepare for a raid on Bel and his palace, while another goes far from Bel and finds a witch to divine his deathtiny."

"Yes, quite right, your nature is beyond me. Thank you.
So it falls to us to find a local witch, or perhaps I can adapt some of my existing knowledge once we get a whiff of the local mana." Vassarious will put together a little testing kit of mana-reactive powders and potions, a prism, a tuning fork, an array of colored lenses and what looks like a copper plumb-bob. |

Do you want to try and be in two different locations? Who will be in babylon, and who elsewhere? What other place would you go? Do you need a suggestion where to go? any other preparations and gear to bring?

Re: Corco's Villa (IC)
Let's head to Babylon together and see what we can find out. I wouldn't mind starting a bit outside the city to do some quiet testing and checks on the magical flavor...
Do we have any contacts on-world? Do we need to pass as locals? |

You have no contacts on-world. This is considered hostile territory and enemy magic is pretty good at finding spies. Corco would like you to try and blend in, yes. Though they have crazy phaux-mythological monsters on this world, so its not as hard as it might be.

Re: Corco's Villa (IC)
With some plans, preparations, and hopes ready, the two agents of Corco file into the library. A bronze winged man-lion statue is taken off a shelf, and placed on the floor. It grows to an enormous size, and its mouth opens a yawning portal. You think you can maybe see stars on the other side.
You trundle through, to a land of so-called "immortals" You arrive on the coast, just outside a city with high walls. Your Thracian should see you through here.

Well all walls have gates, otherwise there's no reason to have walls up to begin with. I guess we should wander around this city until we can find a a gate. I guess we'll either need to just blend in with a crowd heading into town or convince the guards we should be let in. |
