Yeah, I'm really loving the detail you get with those Johanseen miniatures. They don't look like much on his store page, but they look great painted up like that.

Thanks, they look small, but once they're painted and glued on they make the cars look awesome. I hope to start doing my arena, that's gonna be the hard part.

If you start with a good car it should turn out great. I like to use the Jada cars; Ground Pounder series or the out of print Battle Machines(ebay). These cars look great! If I was in the Autoduel world this is what I'd drive. The weapons or easy. Primer them black and dry brush them over with gun metal gray. Games workshop sells this one. It looks the most like metal for guns.The next step is spraying clear coat over the weapons before glueing them on to the cars withe Crazy Glue. The hard part is figuring out what weapons look good on what cars?

thanks, I think a lot of it has to do with the level of modelling skill the individual has though:.)
I am going to use Hotwheels cars aas that is what I have a ton of (got em cheap) just need to get me some tools and some space to get started now is all:.) |

I think clear coat is a type of varnish, but not as thick. Protects paint on models from rubbing off during use.
