My primary strategy against Ogres is to aim for the treads. I think that could work here as well.

The next Ogre expansion should include warfare versions of the Boston Dynamics robot dogs. I'd like to pit those against these proto-Ogres.

Yah, I saw those. Robot war dogs seem like a reasonable adjunct (or even replacement) for battlesuited human soldiers in the Ogre universe. Though if one goes by the Black Mirror episode "Metalhead", they might be an even worse threat to humanity.
