Default Rule Clarifications

I have some very munchkinly friends and was just wanting an official ruling...

Munchkin Cthulhu---
Is Shog Goth considered a -goth monster?

(The argument is the hyphen indicates a preceding letter and the g is lowercase. My counter argument is a space counts as a preceding character and the capital doesn't matter.)

Munchkin Zombies---
Game Show Host - "His toupee is his weakness. Each fire item does +3 damage."

Pt a) So does each count a +3 regardless? Or does each item gain +3? (My stance is the former as the card doesn't say 'gain' or 'additional')

Pt b) If the former holds true, does your 'level' count as only 3 if you're 'On Fire'?

Yes.

The card says "each Item does +3" and that's exactly what it means.

On Fire is not an Item, so it has no further bonus against the Game Show Host.

Interesting. I don't recall the scenario falling on my group yet, but it sounds like a disadvantage for Atomic Zombies with +3 or higher hand weapons.
It's clearly an advantage for anyone with weak fire items, but disadvantageous with any strong ones.
The monster sounds like it was intended to give additional strength to fire items, but obviously the above statement provides clarity it meaning exactly what it reads.

Sorry, I wasn't clear -- it's meant to be an ADDITIONAL +3 per Item. Thought the question was whether it was an extra +3 for any number of Items or an extra +3 per Item. I'll look at the card again and see if we need to make a change; if so, it'll have to happen NOW.

"His toupee is his weakness. Each fire item does +3 damage."

As opposed to 'Each fire item gains +3 damage' or 'Each fire item does +3 additional damage'

So I'm with your statement saying each item does exactly 3 damage (regardless if it's a +1 or +5). But if that wasn't the intent, that's what the FAQ is for until new printings right?

Thanks for the lookup.

OK, an erratum: insert "an additional" before "+3 damage." Submitted to errata coordinator and mailed to the layout artist working on the second printing.
