Invisible Weapon - Magic Items, p. 19
The cost reads as $10,000 per 50 lbs. of weight or fraction thereof. Is this supposed to be 5 lbs.? Otherwise every weapon is $10,000 to make them invisible outside of catapult missiles.

Did you know a siege beast could use an SM+2 polearm that is heavy enough to break a medium shield that tries to block it? Also, unlike a puny human weapon, it would be more expensive to make invisible. See GURPS Magic p.114 for original rules.

It is also not just for weapons.

True, invisible helmets are one of the few ways to get DR for you eye, invisible armor is good if you are ever doing adventuring in town, and invisible clothes are highly prized by the emperor.

Re: Invisible Weapon - Magic Items, p. 19
Edit: Totally wrong, please ignore.
I just checked Magic Items B-5 for armor, where it rounds up to the nearest 1#, and B-7 for weapons, where it rounds up to the nearest 50#. So if you can Fast-Talk the GM into believing a cestus, spring-knife bracer, or katar is a merely a type of gauntlet it becomes much, much cheaper. I think you misread. They round exactly the same, just phrased differently.
