Default Advantages or Skills that affect Local Façade Level.

I was reading Christopher R. Rice 2016 article “Mask of Humanity" in Pyramid 3-97.

I was interested in applying the rules of the Façade, specifically the "passive" form.

However, I do have questions. Is there a way for players to affect the Local Façade Level? I was wondering if there are skills and advantages that could increase or decrease the Local Façade Level.

Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks.

Are you sure you aren't referring to a different Pyramid issue? 3-19 is Tools of the Trade: Clerics, and I'm not seeing an article called Mask of Humanity, there (though it's possible that I missed it somehow).

Oh, crap. My fault. The above comment is right, it should be Pyramid 3-97. My bad. I'll fix it.

Not really. It's meant to be a world-building tool the PCs interact with, not one they can direct or use.

Okay, thanks.

My initial temptation is to combine a "passive" form of Façade with an "active" one. Basically, there is a Basic local Façade Level, AND there is the Shrouding skill. PC's can use the Shrouding skill to raise the Façade Level.

This would be similar to a Skill roll. There is a Basic Local Façade, which is similar to the the Basic Skill Level. A player can then add his/her Shrouding skill to raise the level of Façade, making an Effective Local Façade which would be similar to a Effective Skill Level.

This keeps things simple.
