Dungeon of Comprehensive Curses , Magnificent Hat and Curse! Dwarven Ale

Hi , i have one hard question :
if we're in Dungeon of Comprehensive Curses
- player B have Magnificent Hat
- player C open door and find Curse! Dwarven Ale
- player B use Magnificent Hat and other player roll a dice
- player A lost ( with 1 )

Player A have -8 to next combat ? or only -4 ?
I read this "The Magnificent Hat does bounce the comprehensive curse. One unlucky player will get hit twice"
but with this curse ?
I think player A have -8 to the next combat :/

Until there is an official ruling, an option to consider is a -4 penalty for player A across their next Two combats.

No. Or, at least not yet. Only SJ, Andrew, his appointed minions, and I give official rulings here. This one will take some thought. . .

I think that if the curse does not have an immediate effect (Lose one level, Discard an item, etc.) do not stacks. Something like Curse! Tiny Hands or Curse! Fool's Gold: you can suffer them more than once at the same time, but its effect is the same.
Or even like Curse! Sex Change, where -5 Do not stack

Multiple sex changes do not stack, so you're at -5 no matter how many times you change before your next combat ..this curse ( Dwarven Ale ) can be equal ?

Official ruling: Immediate effects (lose a level, lose an Item) can be doubled as result of Magnificent Hat. Pending effects (-4 in combat) cannot.
