You recommend something like the Aura spell (Greater Sense Mind?) to see if a person has sold his soul. What effect would that spell have on someone who doesn't have a soul (e.g., a zombie).

Re: [Horrors + Powers] Corrupting Power Stunts
I have another question along these lines: I'm contemplating creating a potentially abusing advancement system for this game whereby I use the Abilities and Exertion rules from the sidebar on Powers 159 (with these costing fatigue, just as is in the sidebar, instead of corruption, as I'm having power stunts cost). And then I was thinking of keeping track of all fatigue lost to power use via those rules, and all fatigue loss that would be lost to power stunts. Then, for every 25 fatigue that is lost (or would be lost but isn't because corruption is accumulated instead) the character wracks up 1 free character point which will be spent by the GM on their powers once they have a sufficient number of them to purchase a meaningful upgrade. What do people think?
The whole length of the campaign is going to be about 12 episodes of 3 to 5 sessions each (sessions are about 5 hours), as a reference for how long I have to keep this up. Furthermore, while there may be down time between episodes, there isn't any in sessions. I tend to run them moment my moment, giving people very little breathing room (especially since it's a horror game!) Last edited by oneofmanynameless; 07-20-2015 at 05:11 PM. Reason: Clarity |
