Julian himself seems to be too heavy. It doesn't strain him though... he's just too heavy and feels a small push from himself.

Particularly bored, I think back to yesterday with the Screamer... I ask the Starpus, "Do you mind if I try something?" Then I try to repeat my "Go away" thing with the Screamer.

If this doesn't accomplish anything (i.e. Julian just says 'Go Away'):

"Oh, I saw a Screamer yesterday, it was like I shoved it back after I said that. Thought there might have been something besides the words."

Each fish is pretty small, maybe about a pound. Julian can lift one pretty easily.

Slam: "I don't know what the plan is. We need to get you and the starpus to Royal's sponsors. I don't know if the plan is to find out all the starpus dirty secrets or if you're going to go on a proganda tour or if they want to build a warship that can strike the concordances supply lines."

Gentle Arms: "Sure, why not?"


Julian sends out the wave of energy again. The starpus are shoved back, and several say "Ouch!"

This was perhaps the most expected outcome in this whole game. Perhaps one of the better examples for curious as a disadvantage.

This is a hardly surprising revelation. Given their position on cloning, I wouldn't be surprised if the backers were rebels, and not just people who use rebel controlled territory as a shield.

It dawns on me how long I've been gone. I was helping Rosalyn, is she still OK? I shake my head, can't think about that, shouldn't think about that.
