Well, I bought it before reading what was it about, so I guess that is an impulse buy. Anyway, I'm NOT regretting it, as I've just started a Supers campaign, where I was already using most of the rules republished in PU5:IB. Just the cheat sheet with all the options together is worth having bought the book, and the new material is just gravy on top...

Based in what I've read so far, PU 5 is an excellent book, enhancing the GURPS system -without betraying its foundations- in directions like these often wanted by adherents of systems like FATE.

I will NOT be impulse buying this. I shall be impulse deciding-to-buy this. Its exactly like impulse buying except for a few days instead of having a GURPS book I have irony.

Alas, my point budget is empty at the moment. But as soon as I can change that (six hours from now, I think), I'll be picking this up.

In the meantime, a reminder: impulse buys needn't only be applicable to high-adrenalin adventures. For instance, picture the result of putting them to comedic effect. Th-th-th-th-that's all, folks! >D

It looks like Drama points from the Cinematic Unisystem. Cool and useful.

I impulse checked my budget. It fit, so I bought it after some impulse deliberating.
