Re: The plastic Dopp...
Sounds like a reasonable solution to me - all things considered.

I mean, this way we won't have a bunch of Dopp rear treads lying about, feeling lonely. :D |

Re: The plastic Dopp...
An idea for those who will have sets of long Dopp front treads left over.
Get some of those small neodymium magnet discs, and attach them to a Set #1 CP to create a new Mobile CP mini. |

Re: The plastic Dopp...
Mr. Jackson,
I'm curious as to whether you could possibly put 2 sets of new Dopp treads into the Set 4 molds. Would that impact the project enough to be a problem? They don't really take up a lot of space or add a lot of weight. This way, people who get Set 4 can always help someone out who owns a Dopp, and don't have plans to get the next set of minis. There's a lot of gamers who are in contact with each other and could help each other out, as happens a lot in these communities. I think this has more potential to help everyone out, as some of us pass extra treads around to everybody who needs them. Just a thought |

Re: The plastic Dopp...
To be fair about it, the pictures of the dopp test unit on the KS updates do show the larger treads. We all had an opportunity to see it, and none of us said anything (myself included). So, while it was a goof, this was a weird one that got through all of us. "The Collective" is usually pretty good at spotting things, but sometimes things happen.

Will Set 3 be available for purchase at some point like Sets 1 and 2 are? If so, will it have the correct tread unit pieces? Will the Mark6 be Red and the Dopp Blue? Asking for a friend... ;) Keep those tread units rolling!

Re: The plastic Dopp...
I think putting a front tread set in the minis 4 will work. I think even if you don't need them for the dopplesoldner, having extra bits is always fun if you want to do a conversion of something and tread units are difficult to scratch build.

Re: The plastic Dopp...
I would think the tread color would match the base unit, but I also don't know where asking about the MK VI color comes from; the only goof being addressed is the Dopp treads. The MK VI treads are fine.
