New rules for old games/undead mention in changelog

I've got a 13th edition set of munchkin and as I was reading the changelog for the 2010 colour edition and the updated rules when I noticed the change to the Undead monster "addition" rule is not mentioned.
Furthermore I was wondering if it is recommended to play with the rules of set or apply the newer rules to the older set and along with the card changes.

The change to the Undead rule is actually more recent than 2010; we decided to make it a universal rule a year or so later.

You're probably correct that we should look into adding it, however.
