People who know they're incompetent tend to be a little careful with dangerous things, even if they're overconfident. Dabblers with Overconfidence seem to assume they know what they're doing.

Delusional Competence from Power-Ups 6 is probably what you're looking for. Same result, but you don't even get the small boost Dabbler gives.

I used it exactly once in a 3rd Supers game for a guy that was actually "cursed" as his backstory. His curse was to die in different (painful) ways over and over again. The side effect was that he was functionally immortal, a reasonably quick healer, and had developed a number of useful abilities in the hundreds of years he had been around. Bad things happened to him... constantly... but he had learned to roll with it to a lesser degree.

Cursed is really there for when you decide to stop screwing around and get serious with your Afflictions.

He was oblivious to the fact that virtually anyone he worked with, dated, or spent much time with at all in his mundane identity ended up being a super, often a super villain.
Spider-Man thinks he's unlucky but has never noticed that pattern either.

That's disturbing, but sadly not implausible.

As many have observed, Impulsive is a dangerous combination with lots of different Disads. It's bad enough by itself for a character who is often in dangerous or delicate situations.

Enemy (any powerful and far reaching agency) combined with Overconfidence or Megalomania may cut a PC's life very short.

Xenophilia is probably more dangerous, properly role-played, than xenophobia. Combine it with Impulsive and you've got trouble.

Phobia (doctors and medical science/facilities) combined with any sort of medical Disad.

Various sorts of Compulsive Behavior combined with Weak Will is a bad combo.
Actually pretty much any behavior-based Disad combined with Weak Will.

Some combos are so bad they're silly, like Combat Paralysis and Bloodlust. You might theoretically have both, but it's hard to see how you could have both long enough to become a PC.

Doesn't seem implausible, as lethal fights are rare enough that most people are never involved in one. Still, it's a dangerous combo when a PC has it
