Default Extended Speed/Range Table

Does anyone have an extended speed/range table for use in space settings? I need the extension out to 100,000 miles.

I don't, but it's not too difficult to come up with. From the little blurb under the table in Campaigns, it's a -6 for each factor of 10 increase. And the progressions repeat (1, 1.5, 3, 5, 7). So, 100000 miles would is 3 factors of 10 above 100 miles, so it's -6*3 = -18 worse than 100 miles (which is on the chart), making it a -48. HTH!

Speed/Range formula: 2 - 6*log(Distance in Yards)

Size formula: 6*log(length in yards) - 2

Round to nearest integer.

Take the existing range/speed modifiers, and add an adjustment for the units you're using (rather than hexes):
Kilometers: -18
Miles: -19
Megameters (1,000 km): -36
Light-seconds (300,000 km): -51
Light-minutes (18,000,000 km): -61
AU (150,000,000 km): -67
Light-hours (1.1e+12 m): -72
Light-days (2.6e+13m): -81
Light-years(9.5e+15m): -96
Parsecs (3.1e+16m): -99

You sure about that about, I get a value of 6 for 5 yards and 8 for 10 yards with that formula ( well with 2 + 6*logE(Distance in Yards)/logE(10) as as the forumla on has the natural log function)

10 yards should be -4 and 100 yards should be -10

Log10(10) = 1
Log10(100) = 2

2 - 6 * log (10) = -4
2 - 6 * log (100) = -10

Looks like I transposed a negative sign.
