Been there several times.
It’s a really great trip out and has a number of features which are classic dungeon tropes. In addition to what’s already been mentioned in the article here’s a selection of some of the other features. There are traps. Concealed water jets activated by motion sensors and pressure pads. There is a round room with a rotating floor and multiple exit doors. Some of the doors work one way only. There is a “shrinking” corridor which starts at normal height but narrows to a hobbit sized exit. Also, it’s just down the road from Middleham Castle, which was Richard III childhood home and also well worth a visit |

Yes, it's a fantastic place for adults and children! Another one I love is the tunnel where "the cat is coming" - how to make a domestic pet really scary...
