Voice and Leadership
Hello there.
First post in this forum, please forgive me if this is not the right place for rules related questions. So I'm trying to check which advantages I should get to be a good leader (aka bonus to Leadership rolls), and I'm intrigued that Voice advantages states: You have a naturally clear, resonant, and attractive voice. This gives you +2 with the following skills: Diplomacy, Fast-Talk, Mimicry, Performance, Politics, Public Speaking, Sex Appeal, and Singing. You also get +2 on any reaction roll made by someone who can hear your voice. So, no bonus to Leadership? I checked the errata and didn't find it there as well. Am I overthinking it? It "feels" like a leader screaming out orders with a clear, resonant voice would be easier to follow than one with Disturbing Voice. |

Re: Voice and Leadership
This is the right place to ask!
Voice gives a good bonus to several skills but cant benefit all spoken ones. It would be too good a deal. Leadership is not so much speaking clearly or even eloquently as it is in inspiring people to follow you. Charisma actually adds to the skill and benefits reaction rolls so is a great choice to better your character in that role. Another good thing to consider is the Penetrating Voice perk which lets you be heard farther away.
