Default Necroscope Vampires

I was wondering if anyone had done a work up on these for 4th edition. I recently got my hands on the Masterbook supplement and was reading up on it. Never made it past book two, interesting idea, very poor execution. I think I want to introduce elements into a modern game I'm running, but I have no idea how to build the darn things.

Oh, and if anyone feel like giving the necroscope power a build.... Basically it seems to be speak with dead, raise dead, and being able to use and learn their skills all rolled into one.

Never read the novels but just skimmed wikipedia.
Basically this seems to be Medium with Modular Abilities.

In some ways Necroscope was an early forerunner of the "bureaumancy" genre, and in that sense GURPS Horror: The Madness Dossier is a descendant.

I've checked his blog and he has game reports and copies of the characters, but no work ups on the NPC's and creatures available.

This is how powers generally work. In this case "necroscope" is a focus for a psionic source power. You could make it a power in the Psionic Powers framework, or use a different structure.

Hmmm. They were there at one point or maybe they were in a doc that's no longer there. Ah well. Sorry about that.

No problem, I tried to send him a message but my account was being aggravating.
