The adventurers all go around the corner at once, into the guard post.
The bandits scream and holler as the light is shed upon them.
As the elemental reported, all four of them are behind a flipped over table at the back of the room, half with ready crossbows.

The two with missile weapons fire bolts at Telrith and Gathika.
(OC: Can someone roll for me? Effective skill 12. Damage 1d6+4 impaling.)

The bandits swear loudly as their shots miss!

Combat starts.

Bain unleashes three arrows in quick succession, but only one of them lands!
A bandit with a sword is fatally pin-cushioned!
The remaining three bandits seem disturbed by the brutal speed of Bain's lethal action! They stay in cover, behind the table, waiting to fight those who close the distance...

Vic the Digger moves in to engage the enemies. He is now on the other side of the table cover, meeting eyes with the hostile highwaymen...

(OC: Gathika?)

The catwoman steps forward, ready for violence.

Telrith bravely moves forward, his elemental buddies by his side, who overtake him and try to attack the bad guys.
Slateman misses his axe swing as it moves up close.

TURN 2

(OC: Your turn again, Bain.)

Bain shoots two more enemies dead with arrows.
Vic the Digger attacks the last with his sword, slicing her across the belly, causing her to pass out on the spot.

Combat over.

The bandits are wearing a full set of cloth armor, and are carrying small swords, two crossbows, two quivers of 10 bolts in total, and bundles of coins worth $47 in all.

Cowardly bandits, employing women in their ranks, they are despicable. It would also explain their numbers, they are recruiting from someplace. The woman must survive, we need answers.
