Re: Bullet and lazer reflection
It might be reasonable to require the Jedi to take Wait and Attack in order to direct the reflected bolts. In the films, while they frequently deflect multiple shots in quick succession, they don't counter attack with them as often. To return multiple shots in one second use Extra Attack.

Re: Bullet and lazer reflection
You've got a few options as to how you want to run Reflect Blasters.
Exceptional Success: In SW video games, blasters are reflected (rather than just deflected) when the "defense roll" succeeds extraordinarily well. For GURPS, requiring a success by 5+, or perhaps even a critical success, would work here. Defensive Option: In many SW RPG's, Reflect Blasters is a risky defensive option. When faced with overwhelming odds, you're much better off simply deflecting the shots. As mentioned previously, a -5 to Defense Hard Technique would work. Personally, I'd set it so that failure by 1 still deflects a shot, and that the technique can only be bought up to -2 (so that it's still a bit risky). Wait: To cut down on the number of rolls, as well as allow a bit better survivability against Jedi, requiring the character to declare a Wait may be appropriate. In this case, a successful defense allows the character to Attack. To get multiple Reflect Blaster attacks in a round, you'll need to make use of options like DWA, Extra Attack, and Rapid Strike. For the last, the player will need to declare the maximum number of attacks upon the first attempt (thus setting the penalty). Reflect Blasters may be a legitimate Combination, at the GM's option. In all cases, it's going to be a Parry followed by a roll against either the skill used for the parrying weapon (Force Sword) or something like Innate Attack (Reflected Projectile). Personally, I'd be tempted to go with a straight DX roll, with the option of buying up IA (RP) to represent a character who is really good at reflecting projectiles. |

Re: Bullet and lazer reflection
If you don't want to mess with decreasing parry scores or additional to hit rolls, consider giving Jedi the Deflect and Return Missile spells instead. Yeah it costs 1 or 2 fatigue, but Jedi probably should have lots of that anyway - Extra Effort covers a lot of stuff they do. And yeah it rolls against "spell" skill, but counts as a parry should you want to parry other stuff before your next turn, so that' s not much of a problem - require them to buy them to the same level as Lightsaber skill and it doesn't matter what you call the skill.
