Compartmentalized Mind does just that. It just needs a limit in some way, such that it can't control the body. This may just be a feature, as anybody who manages to control the real you doesn't have to worry about the compartment functioning as an override.

In 3E Psionics, it was a benefit of very high skill (>20) with Mind Shield, called "cloaking". In 4E terms, that probably should be a Technique of Mind Shield, but the name is already taken by Astral Projection :/

Facade appeared in IIRC Wild Cards as a power that let you create fake minds, including being entirely different people, with skill sets etc.

There's a character in one of the Man Kzin Wars stories that creates several telepathic "false fronts" - he has difficulty using his telepathic illusion ability convincingly without really assuming a persona. This includes quite a bit of mental disadvantages and eventually, after
Spoiler:

Entertaining story, but it sometimes reads like an irritated GM dealing with a Munchkin by choking him to death on OVER 9000.

It was in Aces Abroad, the WC adventure. There was also temporary mindwipe in 3e Psionics, but the fake mind wasn't just window dressing in that case.

You mean No Signature? I guess that would come out to about the same cost. As I see it, that enhancement on a Mind Shield would, assuming a successful resistance, just make attackers think that that their attempt had failed without cluing them in as to why.

I thought there were rules for the compartments fighting for control, but maybe that's in 3rd Ed.
