Re: [DFRPG] Crawl! IC
Vic draws his sword (fast draw rolled 14/sl 14), and starts making dancing moves with his sword.
Demon, we are not greedy. We are here to spread the word of the RIDDLE OF STEEL. Take the coin and walk away. It seems you are the GREEDY one, asking for money without doing anything, maybe try exchanging something next time. Carousing rolled 6/sl 11 |

Re: [DFRPG] Crawl! IC
Bain is on alert, ready to advert actions against the party or the loot, (observation 11/13), he is going for an all-out-defense. He tells the party to keep their cool (leadership 10/10).
We have been through this: Violence, unbridled violence, hold the line my friends.

Re: [DFRPG] Crawl! IC
(OC: Wrong skill choice.)
The demon does grab the coin for himself, but he does not leave. "Thank you...but may I have some more coins?" The demon asks, gilded teeth wide in his mouth, too numerous to be anything but predatory. (OC: Almost there, just need another good distraction, and Gathika will get the spell off and Banish it.)

"Just how many coins do you need?" Telrith tries to tie it up with some haggling... but rolls 13 on fast-talk vs. 12.

Re: [DFRPG] Crawl! IC
"I WANT A LOT! Give them to me!" The demon grouses.
(OC: the failed roll means the demon gets a chance to notice Gathika. Someone please roll for the demon's Per 10.)

Re: [DFRPG] Crawl! IC
The demon thankfully is totally absorbed by the matter of cash. The cat girl cleric is beneath his notice.
"GOLD! I WANT GOLD!" The hell-beast bellows. Then the spell is finished, and the monster vanishes in a puff of sulfur. The adventurers continue their journey back. When night falls, they set up camp. (OC: if you rolled before, repeat what the result of those rolls was, please. The rest of you, specify what you do tonight.)

Re: [DFRPG] Crawl! IC
Vic watches from afar besides Gathika and the Cart, as something happens to Telrith and his fort. Afterwards that is done, he sits by the fire and tells the story of NUGGY, to exemplify why he hates beggars.
The story of the lazy duckling named Nuggy. The lazy duckling named Nuggy was a worthless, conniving, treasonous duckling. He sat all day asking people for money. Waiting for others to give him money for nothing. It worked. Until one day he met the ugliest, stingiest man. He said, “no, I will not give you money, I can give you work”. And the lazy duckling named Nuggy said, “Why would I work if I can just ask for money?” The ugly, stingy man replied, “Everyone works, everyone pays, but you” The lazy duckling named Nuggy laughed, and said, “We will see” and then Winter came, and the lazy duckling named Nuggy died because he was a lazy good for nothing duckling. |
