Default How to build limited Altered Time Rate?

Hi,

I want to build a new Advantage for high CP Swashbuckler's to take in Dungeon Fantasy. I want it to be Altered Time Rate, limited to a sub-1 minute duration and costing FP. Kind of like a Great Haste spell but non-magical in nature, it's instead powered by awesome.

I can find the FP cost but not the limited duration unless I build it as an Afflication which looks way too expensive.

I'm sure I'm missing something really obvious, can you please help?

Power Ups 8 has a Maximum Duration Limitation, which lets it work for a set amount of time and then it "shuts down" for 5 minutes, after which time you can reactivate it again. A 1 minute Maximum Duration is worth -65%.

Costs Fatigue already does the time constraint you're looking for - from Basic p111 "For advantages that produce continuing effects, you must pay this FP cost to activate the ability for 1 minute."

That doesn't put a maximum time limit on the ability. In fact, the section you quoted says, in full:

So the first minute costs X Fatigue, the second and subsequent minutes each cost X/2 Fatigue. As long as you have enough FP you can keep the ability on and active.
