GURPS First Edition (Boxed Set)
I know there was a small thread about this, but I cannot seem to locate it today no matter how hard I look. That said:
Anyone own the entire set, or at least most of the books? |

Re: GURPS First Edition (Boxed Set)
Yep. I still have the pamphlets from the first edition of GURPS I bought as a kid in ... 86? And I found a set on eBay a few years ago in nearly perfect condition. But both are in storage, so it'd be a real PITA to find them, if you had a question you were hoping to get answered.....

Re: GURPS First Edition (Boxed Set)
I have the two big pamphlets accessible. What's the question?

Re: GURPS First Edition (Boxed Set)
Sad person not only had them, but had the 1985 playtest rules still as well, until lost in a disaster six years ago.

I have a box set here at hand, if you have questions.

I also have it. I wish I knew what happened to my copy of Man-to-Man.

Re: GURPS First Edition (Boxed Set)
I've got Man-to-Man, GURPS 1E Boxed Set, GURPS 3E Basic Set, & the entire run of GURPS 3E books, save a few of the GURPS Traveller deck plans. I've got multiple editions (pre- & post Compendium) of Autoduel, High Tech, Japan, Space, Supers, and possibly a few other books, and have given away earlier editions of Horror & Magic. These days, they're primarily reference material, and even back in the day no more than ~6-12 went traveling at any given time.
My GURPS 4E collection is far from complete & mostly consists of pdfs due to severe lack of bookshelf space in my house. Note: No bragging intended, it's more a case of borderline hoarding behavior on my part. But if you want an obscure GURPS 3E reference, I'm your guy. Re: GURPS First Edition (Boxed Set)
I still have mine. Back in the day, I cut the spines off the books and put them in a pair of three-ring binders, in page protectors. Certainly holds up well to gaming abuse (and snacks) that way. But it's heavy. Some of the 1e books like Fantasy and Autoduel. (Did they switch to perfect binding during 1e, or is that just a 3e thing?)
