What can we find here? Red Queen, Human wizard, age 20 ST 8, DX 13 (12), IQ 17, MA 10 Talents: Gardener, Literacy, Naturalist Spells include: 7-Hex Fire, 7-Hex Illusion, 7-Hex Shadow, 7-Hex Wall of Thorns, Control Plant, Mage Sight, Magic Rainstorm, Megahex Avert, Megahex Sleep, Staff V Languages: Common, Sorcerers’ Tongue Weapons: Staff V oak maul (1d, 1d+2 occult, Mana: 12), untalented silver dagger (1d-1) Attacks and Damage: Punch (1d-4) Armor: cloth stops 1 hit Wall of Thorns (IQ 12, 2 fatigue) Fills one hex with a tangle of thorny vines ten feet tall. Counts as a fallen body hex (generally too tall to be jumped over), and anybody who enters needs a 3/DX save (-1 die for Woodsman) or take half the amount they missed the save by (round down) in hits (armor helps). Anybody scratched by these thorns must make a 3/ST save or suffer from the effects of the Sleep spell. Two or more hits of fire damage will turn this into an ordinary Fire hex for the spell duration. 3-Hex Wall of Thorns (IQ 14, 4 fatigue) 7-Hex Wall of Thorns (IQ 17, 6 fatigue) Control Plant (IQ 11, 2 fatigue to cast, 1/minute to maintain) Remember that most plants can't do much and even potato eyes can't see. When calculating the cost to cast and maintain factor in the height of the plant. For example a small megahex sized tree that was twenty feet tall would have a cost multiple of 2*7 or 14.
