Default Cannot see damage

Howdy Guys,

Just made myself a cutom weapon in GCA 5.
Problem though is when i write in the damage of the weapon (6dx3) the damage won't show on the character sheet.

I kind of noticed that the Ultra-tech weapons have the same problem when they have the x (multiple) digit in the damage.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Kidn regards

Default Re: Cannot see damage

I am so sorry about that.

I broke part of the damage calculations a short while ago, and I did not become aware of it until recently--and didn't realize that it also affected this particular type of damage until right now.

I do have a fix ready for the next release of GCA, and I have confirmed it also fixes this variation of the issue. I'm not entirely sure when the next release will be, but I really hope to have it ready before the end of the month.

For the moment, you can work around this issue for these weapons by editing the mode, and moving the 'x3' part of the damage into the 'damtype' field. So if the damage is '6dx3 pi++' you could put the '6d' in 'damage' and 'x3 pi++' into 'damtype'. Of course, if there are modifiers that work on damtype, they may not work correctly with this workaround, so keep that in mind.

Hopefully the need for a workaround won't be long! Sorry again for the issue.
