[edit: looks like I did announce this back then but I just had the code in Google docs, instead of GitHub]

I ported Nils' code to Julia in 2018 so it looks like I may be the current maintainer of the code. I put it up on GitHub here: https://github.com/zot/TFT-sim under an MIT license.

Anyone who wants to is welcome to download, run, and edit the code. It's not super user-friendly right now but it does understand these arguments:

Code:
-help -- output this message
--help -- output this message
-point N -- use N point characters
-orig -- simulate using old rules
-prof -- output profiling information

Thanks Nils!

One thing I note is that shortswords, hammers, and small axes are completely missing from the current results (that I can find). Are they just inferior weapons?
Looks like they're not in the weapons table -- someone needs to add them. Maybe me? :)

Adding a -fine option might be nice -- maybe read some tweaks from a JSON structure or something?

No, it looks like I'm not removing shield protection on a knockdown. That should be changed.

On the 32p page, row 6 is the Naginata Expert. He has a 1 in the Expert column. What is he an expert at? I thought that would be Shield Expertise since he has an IQ10 but Naginata is a two handed weapon, so no shield. Weapon Expertise is at IQ11, so that cannot be it.
Are we looking at the same document?

As far as I know, this is the current one: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1802922096

The 32 point "origin" page does have a naginata expert but since the original rules didn't have experts, I'm not positive what's going on there...

Using the above document these 32point rows have Expert but no shield to be an expert of: Rows 2, 8 and 11. These are based on the row# in the first column. So row2 is the first character row after the header row. I have not checked other pages, just the 32point page.
