Starborn Council Leader: "Space is huge, and time is vast. Together . . . they're mindboggling."

--

Raquel: "I need to take this to Master Ton Lor."
Ying: "Who is that?"
Raquel: "He's--she hesitates for a moment, to chose the right words--my mentor who is teaching me how to fight."
Bella: "We need that. We need a lot of that."
Sarah: "We need a montage."

--

Bella: "The Force lets me teleport! See! Blink. Blink. Blink. Blink. THUD."
Sarah: "And that's how we wound up in another dimension."

--

Bella: "My bucketlist has a hole in it."

From a game I happened to strafe on a discord server where I am a mod, but not part of the game itself:

Kit raises her hand. "Okay. Let's assume I am a spy and I get the mission to fail. That means Eiry winds up dead, or perhaps captured and dragged away to some deep Empire prison I'll never have time to visit because I'm still doing my mission up here. That means that I would never get to cuddle Eiry again. That is clearly an unacceptable outcome. Therefore, I cannot be an Empire spy."

Shadowrun cop campaign.

During a raid, the cops search the villa of a down-on-his-luck film star. They discover some very illegal things.

GM: "Finally, you discover the former action-hero. He is only a shadow of his glorius past. Now he is in 50s, over-weight, and sweaty. He wears only a bathrobe and a leopard G-String."

PC 1(Lt) to PC 2: "Corporal, you will put his man in handcuffs."

And then they discover he's The Comedian.

"That's not a machine gun, that's a rotary Cannon"
"This [Posts Image] is what a normal machine gun looks like. apparently PCs are too good for 'normal'"
"there is nothing 'mini' about this gun"

"if the minigun gives us away i swear to God"
"It won't give us away unless you fire it..."

The Major: "I don't want to turn people's skulls into microwaves."
<Beat>

The Major: "I mean our people. The enemy's skulls are fine"

When dealing with what appears to be themselves from a year ago:

Player 1: "Do we Trust them that much?"
Player 2: "Its the faction that's most like us so far"
GM: "<Sarcasm>Really?"

"He's not my evil opposite, I wore a Goatee back then"

715: "Is this a reference to a bizarre, human mating ritual?"
Ana, Chloe, Heaven and John: "Yes."

--

715: "This must come from a . . . later generation of precursors."
Ana: "That seems like a sentance that should never be uttered."
Heaven: "Eh, they're all just 'precursors' to me."

--

Ana: "This is rapidly moving from theoretical physics into . . . supernatural metaphysics. We'd need some sort of higher power to actually answer that."
Heaven (OOC): "Hang on, I'll call my lawyer."

It was a night of very bad rolls.

John: "I have an idea."
Else: "Okay?"
John: "I'll go stand between the two [teleportation] pylons and see if I can touch them at the same time?"
GM: "They're six-feet apart. So, just, with your fingertips." [John nods.] "Nothing happens."
John. "I'll walk back over to Else and Nia. Okay, I'm out of ideas."

--

[After figuring out how to trigger the pylons]
GM: "Gimme a Health Roll."
John: "So, Jasmine it is! Seventeen!"
GM: (Chuckles)
John: (OOC; Channeling Jasmine) "How did I get here?! Why am I in a freezer?! WHY AM I NAKED!?"

--

After a series of insanely bad rolls (seriously, out of 10/11 rolls we had in this scene two sixteens, four seventeens and two eighteens, about to be three!)

GM: "Gimme a roll [while searching the cargo bay]."
Alé: (OOC; Rolling another eighteen) "Spent fuel rods?! What are these doing in here? Why aren't they properly labeled! OSHA is going to hear about this. You're going to hear from my lawyer!"
Heaven: (OOC) "More likely from my lawyer."
(Heaven's "lawyer" is her patron--Asmodeus. She has him on speed-dial.)

--

Alé: "I have good news and bad news. The good news is we have two shipping containers full of MREs, so we won't starve. The bad news is we'll never poop again."
