There was a thread a few years ago where different ways to do this was discussed

DouglasCole ending up writing up his ideas on his blog

If the GM decides that's an option, sure. I was thinking more along the lines of "GM probably isn't using Technical Grappling and the like, but this could be used as a justification to buy more bow-only ST."

If striking ST determines the force with which you can quickly draw a bowstring then I imagine lifting ST would determine the force at which you could hold a drawn bow for a prolonged period of time.

IE if you had a lifting ST of 10 and a striking ST of 15 then maybe you could quickly pull the bow and loose immediately at ST 15 but if you wanted to wait a couple seconds before letting go, you're probably not going to be able to keep it pulled to that previous length and when you do let go maybe only loose at striking ST of 10?
