Re: Corco's Villa (IC)
Vassarious performs what 'fate-divination' screening rituals they can for the two of them.
"If Bel's witches were focused on Yi before, they will be seeing our path as we move forward...We have become the tip of the spear." Before deciding on their next step, Vassarious gets out their supplies and searcherches for omens and portents, and conducts a ritual to find their path. Vassarious builds a fire and positions several stones (one for the tomb, one for Bel's stronghold, one to represent we are looking at the wrong king and there is another and one for corcos) around it and trace several shapes in the earth at intervals amidst and around them (for whatever details...) They walk about the fire and watch it dance between them and the scenes across the flames as they toss small pinches of some kind of ground root into the fire. OCCULT for some Pyromantic Divination! 3d6 <= 14 2 + 3 + 5 = 10 ... success |

Re: Corco's Villa (IC)
Yi's Throat has been cut.*
V knows enough about the demons they fought to know its not one of them: they'd have dissolved. You also seem to remember Yi claiming to be sort of immortal at one point. The divination yields multiple possibilities: the tomb, and the wrong king both seem to lie in your fate. *I thought one of you would have known forensics, but it seems not.

Not sure that matters, unless we can use his assassin as an asset... Dang it, I took criminology! I guess I should have taken Detective! The tomb and the wrong king? Okay, that's strange... If Bel is not the king from the Prophecy, why would we still go to his cave? Hhhmnnn..... Vassarious shares the somewhat contradictory information gleaned from their divinations. If we are still going to the cave and know where we are headed, Vassarious will become a gryphon and provide transport. Last edited by the_matrix_walker; 12-18-2023 at 12:29 PM. |

What will you do with the horses? The two of you take off soaring through the air... Please make riding and mount rolls. You will be at the tombs by the end of the day.

Re: Corco's Villa (IC)
I think we can just release the horses.
LMAO Looks like I'm dropping Halycone... Mount - (DX-5) 3d6 <= 7 5 + 6 + 6 = 17 ... CRITICAL failure |

I think it's more likely you're getting a penalty for my crit fail in trying to help you...
Can we dust off and try again? I think gifting the horses to our hosts is a fine idea. |

Re: Corco's Villa (IC)
Your host is most appreciative of the horses, and asks if its still safe for him, given that Yi was killed.
The +5 for a freindly mount counts... but there was an accident that will require a SECOND riding roll to avoid falling 500 yards to the ground.
